Services and Libraries

Suffolk Community Libraries

Suffolk Community Libraries is a local public network that runs branches across the area, giving everyone access to a massive collection of fiction, non-fiction, and reference materials. The service focuses heavily on keeping the community connected, offering an extensive eLibrary where you can download electronic books, audiobooks, and digital newspapers with a standard card. Beyond the usual shelves, they host regular wellbeing groups and social sessions, ranging from older people's meet-ups to stay-and-play drop-ins for new parents.

The branches are kitted out with plenty of helpful extras, including free Wi-Fi and public computer terminals that anyone can use for up to two hours every day. If you need to sort out paperwork, you will also find on-site printing and scanning machines ready to go. Most of the buildings are fully wheelchair accessible and come with customer toilets and baby changing facilities, making it easy to spend a bit of time browsing or catching up on work.
