Ipswich Transport Museum

Ipswich Transport Museum is a collection of over 100 major transport and engineering objects made or used in the Ipswich area. The museum showcases how people used to travel and live in the area, with exhibits including buses, bicycles, prams, and lawnmowers. The Ipswich Engineering Collection features items from well-known companies such as Ransomes Sims and Jefferies, including cranes, fork lift trucks, and intricate models.

Parking and travel
From London and the south via the A12 and A14. From the Midlands and the North via the A14. From Norfolk/N. Suffolk via the A140 and A14. Follow signs for A14 Felixstowe and exit at Junction 57 signed Ipswich A1189. Our postcode for satnavs is IP3 9JD. Car parking is usually available at the Museum and in Wright Road. On special event days we may operate a "Park & Ride" service.
