Martlesham Wilds Nature Reserve
Martlesham Wilds Nature Reserve is a 117-hectare nature reserve managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust, a charity dedicated to safeguarding Suffolk's wildlife and countryside. The reserve is situated between Martlesham Heath, Woodbridge, and Waldringfield, and features a mix of arable fields, hedgerows, ponds, and saltmarsh and mudflats. The reserve is an internationally important estuary for waders and wildfowl, and is home to a wide range of plants, animals, and invertebrates. Visitors can explore the reserve's public footpaths, which include a section of the Coastal Path, and enjoy events such as wildlife walks and talks.
