24th Ipswich Scout Group

The 24th Ipswich Scout Group operates as a local youth organisation dedicated to teaching core life skills and hosting adventure-focused community programmes. The group organises a structured pipeline of activities tailored to different age brackets, running distinct sessions for Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts. Across these groups, young people participate in outdoor activities like den building and hiking, as well as practical exercises covering first aid, cooking, and community action projects.

Beyond its youth development groups, the organisation offers an affordable community venue through its evening and weekend hall hire service. The layout features a spacious main sports hall alongside two smaller first-floor meeting rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. For practical peace of mind, the building is equipped with ground-floor accessible toilets and a ramped entrance, while external features include a free 25-car on-site car park monitored by a 24-hour CCTV system.
