36th Ipswich Scout Group

36th Ipswich Scout Group operates as an open youth organisation providing activity programmes for boys and girls starting from six years old. The core provisions center around structured development and adventure sessions across specific age divisions, including Beaver Scout sessions, Cub Scout packs, and traditional Scout section activities. Young people participate in a balanced mix of traditional skills, badge work, and outdoor adventures such as camping, nature trails, and team sports. The group focuses heavily on personal development, outdoor skills, and collaborative community work to build confidence and practical knowledge.

Beyond youth development, the group manages a purpose-built headquarters featuring a modern scout hall hire service that is available to the public for private functions, classes, and community clubs. The building is fitted with helpful features to host groups comfortably, including a modern kitchen, a dedicated executive meeting room, and comprehensive audio-visual presentation equipment. Visitors can access practical facilities on site, such as modern toilets with full disabled access, baby changing spaces, a hearing loop system, and free Wi-Fi internet access. The property also includes an enclosed car park with space for nine vehicles alongside a secured tarmac play area fitted with outdoor picnic tables.
