5th Ipswich Scout Group

he 5th Ipswich Scout Group is a local youth organisation focused on helping young people develop practical skills and good citizenship. Led entirely by trained volunteers, the group provides structured, hands-on activities that foster discipline and teamwork across different age brackets. The core program is divided into distinct sections, specifically Beavers for children aged six to eight, Cubs for those aged eight to ten and a half, and Scouts for older youth up to the age of fourteen. Meeting weekly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, the young members take part in outdoor pursuits, community projects, and various badge-earning tasks designed to build confidence.

All weekly group sessions take place at Dumbarton Hall, which serves as the organisation's primary meeting base. This dedicated venue includes a large indoor space suitable for games, crafts, and teamwork activities.
