California Social Club

The California Social Club Ltd is a long-standing, traditional social hub that welcomes members and guests for relaxation, sport, and entertainment. This CIU-affiliated venue operates as a private members' club but opens its doors to non-members for public events and functions. Inside, the focal point of the social scene centers around its spacious function hall and smaller lounge, which are regularly utilized to host live music, quiz nights, and private parties. The bar offers a solid selection of drinks, earning a strong local reputation specifically for its variety of well-kept real ales.

The club is well-equipped with amenities, including dedicated rooms for recreational sports where visitors can play snooker, darts, or join local poker leagues. On the grounds, you will also find a floodlit bowls green used by the club's own team.
