Ipswich BMX Club is a brilliant, community-run club that welcomes anyone looking to get into the action-packed world of bicycle motocross. The absolute star of the show here is their full-size national standard race track, which spans 325 metres and features smooth, tarmac-surfaced corners alongside a proper five-metre start hill. If you are looking to sharpen your skills, they regularly organise structured BMX coaching sessions led by British Cycling certified coaches, making it a cracking place for both total beginners and seasoned racers to level up. They also run fantastic gate practice sessions where you can fine-tune your explosive starts using an all-electric ProStart BMX gate.

Beyond the main racing thrills, the club serves up excellent Go Ride racing events, giving riders a brilliant taste of friendly, organized competition in a highly supportive environment. When it comes to facilities, they have a handy clubhouse on site that includes customer toilets, providing essential comfort during a long day of riding. You do not even need to worry if you do not own a full setup yet, as they offer limited equipment hire including full-face helmets, gloves, and bikes for a small fee during their official sessions. The venue is completely wheelchair accessible, features handy nearby parking, and when club events are not running, the track is entirely free and open for public use.
