Otley Primary School

Otley and Witnesham Federated Primary Schools is a primary school providing a high-quality education for all its pupils. The schools are smaller than average village schools, set in spacious grounds with incredible outdoor areas, which they believe is an advantage to providing extraordinary opportunities and maximising learning for all pupils. Both schools offer a 'family feel' environment, with strong links between parents and families, and a focus on nurturing children's emotional well-being through daily feelings check-ins and supportive language. The schools use a play-based approach to learning, with phonics sessions, reading groups, and hands-on maths activities, and encourage parents to read at home to foster a lifelong love of reading.
