Scouts 11th Ipswich

Scouts 11th Ipswich is a dedicated youth organisation that provides everyday adventure and personal development for young people aged 6 to 18. Run entirely by a local team of adult volunteers, this long-standing group offers structured weekly sessions focused on building skills for life. Attendees actively participate in traditional outdoor adventures including frequent camping trips, alongside specialised physical activities like rock climbing and archery right at their main site. The progressive programme is carefully tailored across multiple sections to teach teamwork, navigation, and practical leadership from a young age.

Beyond the outdoor skills, the headquarters features excellent on-site facilities designed to support the local community, including an indoor climbing wall and a large main hall. The premises are fully equipped with practical amenities like wheelchair accessibility, dedicated disabled toilets, a modern kitchen, and an on-site car park with space for up to eight vehicles. To keep everyone connected during meetings and community events, the building also offers free Wi-Fi access throughout.
