The Old Stores

The Old Stores is a historic village tearoom and lifestyle shop operating on a bookings-only basis. The business serves up a varying daily selection of local cakes, alongside savory items like cheese scones and chilli jam sausage rolls. Visitors stopping by can also expect light midday options such as quiche or lunch boards accompanied by a glass of wine. Aside from standard daytime bookings, the venue also runs a monthly bottomless lunch event known as The Last Friday Club.

Beyond the food and drink, the establishment doubles as a retail space selling an eclectic mix of new and vintage gifts, lifestyle products, and jewellery. On-site facilities include a customer toilet equipped with basins at both adult and child heights, indoor seating kept warm by a wood-burning stove, and a small courtyard garden with outdoor tables. For visitors arriving by car, a small car park is located at the back of the building.
