Wheathill

Wheathill is a family-run rural camping, touring, and glamping site set on an agricultural farm. The main draw here is the layout of the site, where a collection of grass and hardstanding electric pitches are arranged right alongside a quiet one-quarter acre lake. This central water feature provides access to onsite carp fishing, which is free for overnight visitors and stocked with fish weighing up to fifteen pounds. For those who prefer a solid roof over their heads rather than pitched tents, the site also offers self-contained glamping accommodation in The Nest cabin and a dedicated shepherd's hut.

The facilities provide plenty of practical elements to keep your stay comfortable. You will find a clean, communal block housing unisex showers, customer toilets, and a baby changing mat, all built with wheelchair accessibility in mind. There is a covered outdoor dishwashing area supplied with hot water, along with fresh drinking water points and dedicated chemical waste disposal. The site includes free on-site parking for guests, direct access to woodland footpaths, and a designated play mud kitchen for children. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you on the pitches and inside the cabin, provided they stay on their leads during busier times.
