Foxhall Stadium

Foxhall Stadium is a regular gathering place for motorsport fans on the outskirts of Ipswich. Home to the Ipswich Witches speedway team, it also hosts stock car, hot rod and banger racing, giving spectators several different kinds of racing to enjoy. Its 382-metre tarmac oval stages major events including the National Hot Rod World Championship during the annual Spedeweekend and the National Banger World Final. The stadium is on Foxhall Road, with free parking available.

Speedway has been part of Foxhall’s story since the Witches staged their first fixtures in 1951. The club celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2026, having won five top-flight league titles, most recently in 2025. Today, the combination of Witches home meetings and Spedeworth’s car racing programme keeps the stadium closely connected to the area’s sporting life, with local supporters and visiting fans gathering trackside throughout the racing season.
