Biodiversity Discovery Day

Biodiversity Discovery Day takes place on Wednesday, 28 October, offering participants the opportunity to bring along their discoveries for expert analysis. The Ipswich Maritime Trust will be represented by specialists in natural history, geology, archaeology and astronomy who can assist with identification and provide insights into the objects brought along. Museum staff will also be available to share information about the collections during this time, as the museum undergoes redevelopment.

A variety of activities are planned for younger visitors, including Terrifying Toddlers sessions that feature Halloween-themed free play, crafts and storytelling tailored for children under five years old. This event is designed to be engaging and informative for all ages, encouraging exploration and learning through interactive experiences.
