Chinese New Year Show

The Anglo Chinese Cultural Exchange is hosting its 17th annual Chinese New Year Show on 6th February 2027, running from 7.00 to 9.00pm. The event will take place at The Hold in partnership with Suffolk Archives. This year's variety show, themed around the year of the Goat, features a range of traditional performances including martial arts displays from Kudos Combat and contributions from National Dance, Singing groups, and other local talents.

The programme may be subject to changes. Cultural craft stalls offering Chinese calligraphy bookmarks and Fai Chun blessings on red Xuan paper will be available in the lobby before the performance, with payment required in cash. A fundraising raffle for the Chinese Community School will also occur during the event, requiring participants to bring cash. The show is open to all ages.
