Mini Mansions: Underground

Mini Mansions: Underground sessions run for 45 minutes and are scheduled between 10am and 10.45am or 11.15am and 12 noon on Wednesday, 4 November. These interactive events are tailored for children aged 2½ to 4 years along with their parents, grandparents or carers. The focus in November is on the theme of Underground, offering a mix of play, storytelling, craft and science-based activities aimed at fostering development, communication and curiosity.

Sessions are intended for preschool-aged children and their accompanying adults, and they are not appropriate for larger nursery groups. Parents and carers are required to remain with their children throughout the session. Younger siblings and babies are permitted to attend but some materials may not be suitable for children under 2½ years old. Accompanying babies and younger siblings are welcome at the parent or carer’s discretion. The main activity occurs on the ground floor, with access to the Lower Tudor Room via pushchair-friendly pathways. Some parts of the session may require using stairs to explore different areas of the Mansion.
