EVENT

Santa Paws

Santa Paws is an event where pet owners can bring their dogs to meet a festive version of Santa, designed specifically for canine companions. Dogs will be given special treats and goody bags from Father Christmas in a magical grotto setting. The handler must remain with their dog throughout the event, ensuring they clean up after them and keep their pets on a short lead at all times.

The event is open to all, with a charge of £7 per dog. Additional gifts for children can be added for £3 each. Pet owners are advised to consider whether their dog’s temperament suits the environment, which includes other animals and visitors. Those with concerns about their dog's behavior should contact Suffolk Archives beforehand at archives@suffolk.gov.uk. It is also important to ensure compliance with any legal requirements related to the breed of dog being brought along. Gifts provided are suitable for dogs aged over six months; those under this age should contact Suffolk Archives in advance to confirm suitability.
