EVENT

Wise Women, Other Wild Folk & Cast a Story

The event features a two-part storytelling experience led by Justine de Mierre, focusing on traditional tales linked to the theme of "Witches: Suffolk's Dark Legacy." The first part introduces characters such as wise women and mythical beings through engaging, family-friendly narratives rooted in Suffolk folklore and beyond, emphasizing creativity, humor, and wonder.

The second session invites participants to contribute to story creation by drawing inspiration from objects, images, and documents displayed in an exhibition, allowing for new tales that reflect historical voices while celebrating imagination and evolving storytelling traditions. The sessions are suitable for children aged 4-11.
